Unfortunately, our Kiwanis Division 5 has decided to discontinue the fishing derby.

There were just too many uncertainties and obstacles that our derby committee faced. We regret that we are unable to hold this worthwhile event. The Trout Fishing Derby was a 25 year tradition at Wishon. Kiwanis Division 5 was proud to be involved. Because of the sponsors volunteers and the participation of the participants, the derby helped raise over $160,000 dollars to benefit Special Olympics.
