I am a 17-year member of the Kiwanis Club of Santa Maria, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2023. I am also a Past Distinguished President (2013-2014) and served as the President of Santa Maria Kiwanis for Kids, Inc., which is the club's foundation. In the District, I am a Distinguished Lieutenant Governor for Division 29 (2015-2016), a Trustee for Region 10 (2017-2020), Chair of the Realignment Committee (2019-2020) and the Chair of the Bylaws and Policy Committee (2020-2024.) Additionally, I have been a Director of the CNH Children's Fund since 2020.
I graduated from Syracuse University with a management degree in logistics, and my career had several stops before arriving in Bakersfield in 1989. While there, I was active in the California Trucking Association, where I served on the Board of Directors and as the chair of the Safety & Human Resources and Legislative committees. I helped raise funds for the CTA scholarship fund and Make-A-Wish by chairing truck rodeos and golf tournaments in
conjunction with NASCAR’s Truck Series races.
I was born into a Kiwanis family. My father was a 55-year Kiwanis member, and my mother was an educator. They raised me, an older sister, and a younger brother on the south shore of Long Island, New York. I live in Santa Maria with my wife Eileen, who is also a Kiwanis member, and our German Shepherd, Daisy.
