Doug Frost is a native Californian. Doug grew up in Riverside, California and attended Ramona High School where he was student body president. After graduating, Doug attended Stanford University, graduating in 1977 with a degree in political science. After a break from school, Doug resumed his studies at the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating in 1983 when he began practicing law. He first joined Kiwanis in Riverside in 1984, joined the Kiwanis Club of Ontario in 1988,
and joined the Kiwanis Club of San Diego in 1999. Doug was elected president of the Kiwanis Club of San Diego in 2004 and became Lieutenant Governor of Division 11 in 2012 under Governor Gary Jander. Seeking new leadership challenges in Kiwanis, Doug became a District Trustee in 2016, serving for five years. Doug was District Parliamentarian for Governor Margot Dutton. Doug has served on several committees within the District, chairing the Bylaws and Policies committee for four years. Doug is the recipient of the William A. Dunlap Fellowship from the Cal-Nev-Ha Children’s Fund, and the George F. Hixson Fellowship from the Kiwanis International Children’s Fund. Doug is married to June Frost, to whom he proposed during the Kiwanis International Convention in Paris France in 2017. Doug's daughter Madeline lives in Tulsa,Oklahoma.
